I believe I can offer the solution to the local community in the Solihull, Knowle & Dorridge area at Studio 52 Fitness. Since 2014, I have been offering professional, accessible and affordable exercise in a fun and welcoming environment.

About

I’m Rachel Northam and throughout my childhood I was a dancer and figure skater and I have always kept fit as an adult. Following university, I worked in the corporate world for 24 years and when I left the business in 2013, I decided to re-train to be a Fitness & Pilates Instructor. I felt it would combine my desire to keep fit, my passion for dance and music and would benefit the quality of life of the local community. So I investigated training courses, refurbished the building in my garden, passed my exams and I’m loving my work!

Since 2014, I have been teaching Pilates, HIIT & Body Conditioning classes for clients in the Solihull area and currently do 11 sessions per week. I also offer 1-1 Personal Training, Mat based Pilates & Reformer Pilates.  Classes are a maximum of 9 people so everyone can have individual attention and exercises can be tailored to suit your objectives and fitness levels. It is a friendly, non-competitive environment. I provide all equipment, towels and water so you just need to bring yourself. 

Qualifications

YMCA Level 3 Diploma in Pilates
CYQ Level 2 in Group Exercise to Music
YMCA Level 3 in Adapting Exercise for Antenatal and Post Natal Clients
Mbodies Training Academy certificate in teaching the Pilates Reformer, Cadillac, Chair & Barrels
CYQ Level 2 & 3 Anatomy & Physiology for Exercise and Health
Member of Fit Pro & APPI (Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates International)
